Dancing fountains and perfect coffee at Caravan in Granary Square

Granary Square is one of my new favourite places in London. Just steps away from the hustle and bustle of St Pancras International Station, this lovely new public space is filled with trees, dancing fountains and a new gallery space. When the weather permits there are tables to sit outside at, or you can just hang out by the canal.

In one corner of the square is Caravan. Housed in a former grain store, it serves ‘well travelled food and mighty fine coffee’ from breakfast through to supper. I have to come clean though and say I much prefer Caravan during the day when it’s a little quieter and the daylight streams into the high ceilinged space. It’s a great place for early morning breakfast meetings and true to their word, the coffee, which they roast and grind themselves, is delicious. The staff are also lovely which helps. When I went this morning they made me hot lemon and honey especially for my cough and sore throat!
